Come Join Us at the 61st MCTM Annual Conference
Dakota High School, Macomb Michigan
The time has come to begin registration for the 61st Annual MCTM Conference and Institute, "The Art of Mathematics... for Student Success", to be held August 3-5, 2010. The Institute will run, August 3 through Wednesday at noon August 4. Topics have been selected for Elementary, Middle School and High School levels, along with a half day discussion on Common Core standards.
The Conference will begin on Wednesday morning and finish on Thursday evening. The schedule for both the institute (2010 MCTM Institute Description.pdf) and conference (MCTM Conference Schedule rev1.pdf) has been revised and is included with the attachments to this notice . We are still reviewing several sessions for inclusion at the conference. Any additions will be published here and information wll be sent to members and registered non-members. The room assingments will be made closer to the conference.
If you would like to attend both the Institute and the Conference, MCTM will discount the combined cost of the Institute and Conference by 20%. If your district registers 5 people of the conference they will be able to send an administrator to the Institute with no registration fees.
Hotel registration arrangements have been at the Comfort Inn - Utica and the Holdiay Inn Express - Utica. Stacy's Travel in Monroe, Michigan has negotiated rates with both hotels on behalf of MCTM as follows; Comfort Inn - Utica for $65.00 / night and Holiday Inn Express - Utica for $85.00 / night.
